Sewo Olonilua leads Blue past White at Kingwood spring game, 2014.

Though Kingwood High School alumnus Sewo Olonilua missed out on the 255 NFL Draft picks, his status as an undrafted free agent did not last long as he signed with the Dallas Cowboys immediately following the three day virtual event.

Olonilua was part of the KHS Class of 2016 but graduated early to enroll at Texas Christian University second semester and attend spring practice.  In his time at Kingwood, Olonilua became the first Humble ISD student to be selected to play in the US Army All-American Bowl, earned a four-star rating, and received multiple college offers, among many other accomplishments. He went on to earn the 2016 Glenn Davis Army Award. In his career with TCU, Olonilua played outstandingly, named the 2018 Cheez-it Bowl Offensive Most Valuable Player and earning invitations to both the NFL Combine and NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. He rushed for a career total of 1,624 yards and 18 touchdowns with the Horned Frogs.

The Kingwood community is happy to see alumnus Sewo Olonilua succeed at the next level!
