Whether it will snow this Christmas is a big question many wonder as the winter season arrives. Though it has never officially snowed in Houston on Christmas Day, there’s always a possibility of snow coming down. Last year and other past years, the community of Kingwood High School received a snow day in January, allowing the enjoyment of snowman building and hot cocoa. According to the Almanac, there is a low chance of snowfall this season. So there may not be a White Christmas this year, but there are still plenty of festive activities going on in the Houston area. The Houston Ballet will be showcasing the Nutcracker (Nov. 28 – Dec. 28), The Alley Theater will be presenting A Christmas Carol (Nov. 16 – Dec. 28), and Zoo Lights at Houston Zoo (Nov. 21- Jan. 4)
