Who will it be: Conrad or Jeremiah?

This past summer, Jenny Han released Season 2 of her hit show and novel “The Summer I Turned Pretty” on Amazon Prime. However, although fans loved the past season published in 2022, Jenny Han has led the fandom to many controversies within the show and rollercoasters of emotions. The real question is.. Team Jeremiah or Team Conrad?

The story revolves around a teen girl, named Isabel (Belly) Conklin and the summer that marks a turning point in her life. The series starts out with Belly, and her annual trip to Cousins Beach, a past family tradition on the coast where they spend the summer with the Fisher family. The Fishers consist of Jeremiah, Conrad, and their mother, Susannah, who acts like a second-mom to Belly.

Now whether you’ve watched the series or read the books, during Season 1, Belly kisses both brothers at different points, but results in the first season ending with Conrad. However, by Season 2, Conrad and Belly have ended things and the Fishers’ are mourning over the death of their precious mother, Susannah, but, the three of them are still stuck in a love triangle.

Although the novels and the series tend to be similar in most ways, the decision between the brothers is truly one thing that cannot be solved within fans. Both Jeremiah and Conrad have their own happy moments with Belly, but don’t have the looks fool you- they can both be heartbreakers.
