In late February the varsity girls went to College Station, TX. At the tournament, varsity was 4-0 winning both their Thursday and Friday games. They finished Thursday games with impressive scores of 5-2 against Montwood and 27-0 Pasadena Memorial. Friday’s games ended off really strong with scores of 6-1 against Langham Creek and 9-1 against Bellaire. The Saturday games we put up a great fight against Bridgeland and Clear Springs but we could pull out a win. Overall it was a great weekend varsity placed 4th out of 32 teams.

The junior varsity team had a great start also with Thursday going 1-1 against Porter high school and Woodlands high school. And finished off with 3 wins against New Caney, Caney Creek, and Conroe. On Saturday they ended the tournament with a tie against Waller high school. After the tournament, the girls will continue to grow and practice for the upcoming season. After all our hard work on February 28, they played Atascocita High School where varsity won 7-0.

In the upcoming season the girls will have five more home games and junior varsity will have 2 more tournaments. Come out and support Kingwood Mustangs Softball.
