Pre-season for Kingwood Ladies Lacrosse has just started up! To celebrate the beginning of an awesome season for the team, I interviewed some of the players.

What position do you play in lacrosse?

“I mostly play defense but I would like to play attack this season!” – Emma Trigg, FR

“I’ve been playing since I was about five years old.” – Dylan Halloran, SR

What are you most excited for this Fall Ball?

“I am excited to get to know the time and just have fun! I can’t wait to learn how to work with everyone else on the field as a team and get to know how everyone else plays!” – Jackie Sandquist, SR

Do you have anything you’re looking to improve on this season?

“Some of my stick skills and healing up so I’m able to run more” – Avery Blackler, FR

Why do you think Fall Ball is worth doing?

“Because it’s fun. You get to connect with a lot of players!” – Madison Rupp, SO 

What would you say to someone who is on the fence about playing lacrosse?

“Just try it! You never know until you give it a shot!” – Avery Wagnon, SR
