How do you want to impact the environment around you?
“Since the start off this year, I’ve been truly living with this question in mind, especially through my experiences in band. The KM4B has a quote: People won’t remember everything you do, but they will remember how you made them feel. When I really took that to heart, it started having a tremendous impact on my life. I also stopped caring about what others thought of me and started living how I wanted to. As a result, I began giving more compliments, acting sillier, and just trying to keep everyone’s spirits high. Recently, I was able to really put this mindset into practice in the band. I was nominated to be the hype man, and I got to write speeches for our competitions. That became my kickstart: writing speeches to inspire people on the field, which helped me start inspiring them off the field as well. Alongside this, my friends and I formed a band, @flamincrawfish, as a way to channel our love for music to the world. It was so rewarding to see people come to watch us this Halloween and to see their smiles as they told us they loved our performance, I can’t wait to grow further to bring joy through music to everyone across the world. So, all in all, I want to bring more smiles and joy to this amazing world. I want to help people realize that no matter how they may view themselves, they are always and forever a uniquely amazing, talented, and beautiful person.”
