What is an important lesson you’ve learned recently?
“An important lesson I recently learned is the value of patience. This past year, I have dealt with a leg injury that has kept me out for almost the entire football season. When I found out I wouldn’t be able to play, it hurt me to not play the game I love the most. While dealing with this, I have sat on the sidelines watching my team go ball out and prove people wrong this season, but seeing teammates get injured with the fear of not being able to play, then rush things quickly making things worse, seeing this has made me realize that not all thing should be rushed, patience is an important aspect in life because all great things take time. As I have waited, I have been able to play again and I thank my team, coaches and my ability to have patience.”
