Kenzie is a current sophomore at Kingwood High School and involved in multiple activities such as DECA, Speak Jesus, FCA, Lacrosse, and TAFE.

What do you enjoy doing outside of school, like hobbies or special skills?

“Outside of school I am involved in my church and I play lacrosse. I go to United City Church on Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings, and life groups on Sunday nights. I love getting to be in godly community to grow in my faith and love for the Lord as well as serve in the kids ministry on Sunday mornings with the 4 year old’s. I also play lacrosse for Kingwood High School. This is only my second year playing and I love it so much. I have build some incredible relationships on that team whether it is with new/old friends and coaches. They continue to encourage me to work outside of practice and have taught me what it looks like to be truly dedicated to something. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have and I am so thankful God brought me and my family to the Kingwood area 5 years ago!”

Tamir is excited to lead Mustang Monthly this year. She is also a junior class officer at KHS and a varsity soccer player for KHS. She is looking forward to capturing what is happening in KHS and the community bringing a fresh look to Mustang Monthly. Tamir will be leading the DECA program for KHS while maintaining her involvement in FCA and Stangs Service Day this coming year giving back to the Mustang community. When she is not at school, you will find Tamir practicing and playing club soccer many nights and weekends for the HTX Girls Academy U17 team. Service is important to her core as she continues to be involved in her church community at United City as well as volunteering with special needs through Camp Blessing, Special Olympics and the Tops program.
