Who is the most influential person in your life?
“The most influential person in my life, hands down, has to be my dad. He grew up in Venezuela with very little. At a very young age, he had to begin helping and supporting his family. Stepping up so young may have cost him an average childhood, but it also made him my hero. He is the most brilliant person I have ever met. He earned a Ph.D. in metallurgical engineering from Case wWestern Reserve University after graduating from La Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela with an engineering degree. Successfully bringing over most of his family to the United States, he raised a family with my mom. I have never met such a selfless person who would do absolutely anything for his loved ones. His passionate, persistent heart is something I can only dream of having. My dad is everything; I am so grateful to have him as my role model. He epitomizes persistence, a true hero’s quality.”
