Savvy is a current sophomore at Kingwood High School and involved with DECA, StuCo, Mu Alpha Theta, Mustang Monthly, and is a Kingwood Fillies Military Officer.

What are you most grateful for in this current moment?

“What I am most grateful for in this current moment is my mom. Without her I wouldn’t know what to do… like literally. She pushed me to go further with dance and is always supporting my decisions. My mom is my hero and allows me to look up to someone as great as her!”

Shifa Soban is a current junior involved in various activities throughout the school. She is looking forward to capturing the behind the scenes of students and getting more people involved within the community. Additionally, she will also be running the Humans of KHS page, inspired by Humans of New York on Instagram and the site.

Currently, she is the Kingwood Varsity Cheer Manager, a Kingwood TAFE Officer, an active member in STUCO, and a Class Officer. When not in school, Shifa spends most of her time through various volunteer events and spreading her school pride within her community.
