Madeleine is a current senior at Kingwood High School and involved with Kingwood Soccer, Historian of the Senior Class, and Student Council.

What is something you’ve learned about yourself this past week?

“Something I have learned this past week is the importance of investing in yourself. It is easy to become fixated on the happiness of others and neglect your own needs. By dedicating time to focus on your own growth, you might discover that your progress starts to outweigh the negative feelings that once limited you.”

Shifa Soban is a current junior involved in various activities throughout the school. She is looking forward to capturing the behind the scenes of students and getting more people involved within the community. Additionally, she will also be running the Humans of KHS page, inspired by Humans of New York on Instagram and the site.

Currently, she is the Kingwood Varsity Cheer Manager, a Kingwood TAFE Officer, an active member in STUCO, and a Class Officer. When not in school, Shifa spends most of her time through various volunteer events and spreading her school pride within her community.
