I am so incredibly honored to be stepping into a classic Kingwood High School tradition, Humans of KHS. Humans of KHS was started by Neha Shaw post Harvey to make a big school smaller and help students get to know one another more personally. It is an absolute honor to be running this account and I am so excited to get to bring Kingwood High School together through different perspectives and lenses of everyone, as a community.

Humans of KHS is inspired by the hit photoblog and interviews of ‘Humans of New York’, which started in November 2010 by Photographer Brandon Stanton. The project focuses on showcasing the diversity and individuality of those who live in New York through portraits and snippets of their stories. Stanton’s photographs have engaged millions of people all around the world due to its ability to humanize strangers as well as show connections by highlighting shared human experiences and creating a safe environment for people to relate to.
