Leslie Ann VanCleave is a freshman at KHS that actively participates in orchestra and the junior varsity swim team.  She is also involved in serving at her church and larger community daily. 

In what way would you like to impact the people around you?

“I would like to impact those around me by motivating them to look beyond their own lives and their own enjoyment to something much greater than themselves. To find a passion that will have an eternal impact on those around them. Something that drives me to want to impact others in this way is my faith in Jesus Christ. There is so much more to life than school, sports, and whatever else. Pursue things that will have a lasting effect. I use my membership in khs orchestra and swim to build relationships with others in hope that I can impact them on a faith-based level. I don’t want other people to remember me by the activities I did in school or by what I wore, I want them to remember what I stood for. That’s the impact I hope to make during my time at KHS!” – Leslie Ann Vancleave
