What is something in your life that has allowed you to grow?

“The growth I have achieved, both academically and personally, is directly tied to my relationship with my family. Nothing I’ve accomplished could’ve been done without the constant support from my dad and the love from my siblings. I feel like every single day, I learn more and more about what it means to just simply be a good human being. Going through life with them, standing alongside their accomplishments and struggles, has taught me everything about loving and caring unapologetically. I’ve learned that it’s the bonds you build and the people that stay with you, despite the messiness of life, that truly teach you who you are. And I’ve learned that I want to be defined by the things that I love. Without that knowledge, I never would have been able to grow in any aspect of my life.”-Pipa Powers
